Please join multiple communities-wide effort to stop CA Ventures from placing a 252,377 sq. ft. industrial warehouse next-door to homes, harming the health and safety of our families, environment, and town.  This location, just north of 83rd St., between Lemont & Dunham Roads, for their 50 loading docks poses unnecessary risks to Woodridge and neighboring towns of Darien, Downers Grove, Bolingbrook, and Lemont. Trucks (pictured at Lemont & 83rd St.) routinely race through red lights (left) and compete with kids biking (right).  Three previous developers abandoned this incompatible land use plan.  Please remind our elected officials and others to prioritize lives.

The danger next-door:

• 50 loading docks bring expected hundreds of trucks to thousands of increased traffic (including passenger vehicles) 24/7/365

• 11% decrease in nearby property values
• Decrease in tax revenue compared to alternative land uses.

What can you do?

1. Sign the petition.
2. Email the Plan Commissioners (commentpc@vil.woodridge.il.us), Village Board (publiccomment@vil.woodridge.il.us), the Mayor, and CA Ventures and to simply say no, or add your own personal comment.
