On 5/2/2026 it was reported by staff that from 7am-3pm the memory care unit was functioning with only the SCC care manager and a pca. The assisted living had the administrator in a medtech role and 2 pcas leaving the building out of compliance due to the staff to resident ratio. Caldwell continues to move residents into the building knowing that she lacks the adequate amount of staff to fully staff the building in compliance. This is why profits cannot be the bottom line. Residents are not safe. While visiting your loved ones today you may see all members of management present for work as this issue was reported to on call for Onslow county DSS on yesterday.
