Dear all, 

Just a quick note to share some links to the recent Research Forum on the Research and Innovation Bill & the Research Landscape which was held in the Trinity Long Room Hub in Trinity College Dublin. Here you can watch the panel discussion featuring Ivana Bacik (Leader of the Labour Party), Prof Luke O'Neill (TCD), Prof Emma Sokell (University College Dublin, IFUT), and Dr Nicole Volmering (TCD) and Deirdre Lillis, Assistant Secretary, Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science. The Minister also recorded a video message which was shown at the Research Forum and which is available to view in full here. 

The key thing now is to keep up the momentum to ensure that our concerns are addressed in the final legislation and that our new agency is one that accords with the ambitions we share.
