Require Trump and JD Vance to resign

Require Trump and JD Vance to resign
The Issue
I'm a young queer person, and it's heartbreaking and terrifying to see the rights and freedoms of my family and myself slowly being stripped away. As someone who is part Polynesian, with a great-grandmother who immigrated legally from New Zealand, I live in constant fear for her well-being. She suffers from severe dementia, and should she be deported due to aggressive and inflexible immigration policies by ICE, it could mean the end of her life.
Former President Donald Trump and Senator JD Vance have continuously supported policies that marginalize the rights and dignity of the LGBTQ+ community and threaten the security of immigrant families. These policies are not just political strategies; they are direct assaults on our lives, our families, and our fundamental rights as human beings.
Statistics speak volumes. Research has shown that harsh immigration policies can lead to a significant increase in mental health issues among those affected, especially for families who live in fear of being torn apart. Furthermore, the rollback of LGBTQ+ rights, promoted by leaders who refuse to acknowledge the equality of all people, undermines years of hard-fought progress and damages the mental and emotional well-being of countless individuals.
We demand leadership that listens to the voices of those who are oppressed, not leadership that fosters fear and despair. Our goal is to hold these leaders accountable for their damaging policies and to advocate for the resignation of Donald Trump and JD Vance. In their place, we need representatives who will champion equality, empathy, and justice for all.
We are the future, and our voices matter. We are calling on all who believe in equality and compassion to sign this petition and join us in this urgent call for change. Let us unite to safeguard our rights and protect our families from the harm caused by those in power. Stand with us, sign with us, and fight for a world where everyone is treated with dignity and respect.
