Heatwave for many days, no rain providing an excuse for releasing untreated waste.  All my windows are open to let in some cool night air as stuffy from a very hot day.  Absolutely stinks of s**t, not treated, not fausty, pure fresh meaty s**t with a fishy undertone.  So strong I feel like I’m tasting it too.  The garden absolutely reeks of it and any cool breeze carries the stench of it.  So disgusted I actually feel like moving away.  I’d miss the proximity to the river and greenspace but this smell is becoming depressing.
