Should we just give up our words?

Maybe we should just go and educate ourselves to erasing our words
today has been the hardest day as told our institutions and our policy makers have been instructed by their funding of women’s health to erase and dilute our words
Women’s colleges have told doctors to dilute our wording and call us “pregnant people” and “parents” no one wants to fight back because no one wants to lose their jobs
there is no evidence to do this
we have research published for women’s health that can’t say the words women, this is tragic
we have hospitals closing down for pregnant women as this is deemed safer than keeping it open, this is tragic
but let’s delete the words girl. Women, pregnant women and mothers, they seem to have the funding to delete and dilute our words without a shed of evidence, it’s tragic
these words aren’t an opinion, they are a fact of our 🌍 and lives, we are women, and some of us are mothers, we shouldn’t have to comprise and use “pregnant women and pregnant people” as if men can get pregnant. Videos stating pregnant people, normalising erasing our words
but yet they can still say the words men and dads without fear or favour
so done with this, 195 signatures isn’t enough so do send in why our words matter
Find us on @justsay_mother (X and Bluesky)
and help us win our words back
send in your voice notes, videos and statements why this is important to keep our words
we can’t win unless you sign because they didn’t want to listen to my women’s voice today
devastated beyond devalued and our human rights to be named is gone
hope you send with us today and help gain more support
(send in examples of the desex and diluted wording and tell us why it upsets us) yes we are offended and we do feel excluded and women and girls deserve better )
