📢 Day 97: Advocating Out Loud 📢

🌟 As we push forward in our advocacy efforts, we’re seeing progress but also facing ongoing challenges that need urgent attention.

💼 Billing Update: After months of back-and-forth, our billing issues have finally smoothed out. While this is a step in the right direction, it’s only a small piece of the larger puzzle we’re still fighting to solve.

🔍 County Update: The County has released two Requests for Information (RFIs) for partial hospitalization programs. This shows some movement towards addressing gaps in mental health services, but we need more, and we need it now.

⏳ Still Waiting: Despite our efforts and the connections made at the Board of Supervisors meeting, we have yet to receive any follow-up from them. This delay is unacceptable. Since our first meeting, we’ve tragically lost two more community members to overdoses. One client we were trying to get into inpatient treatment had to wait a full week just to complete a needs assessment—by then, they needed to be admitted within that week. These delays are costing lives.

📢 Action Tomorrow: Tomorrow, we are heading back to the Board of Supervisors meeting to call for immediate action. The time for delays is over. We will make it clear that these continued delays are putting lives at risk, and we need answers and solutions now.

📝 Support the Petition: We need your continued support. Sign and share the updated petition to show that our community will not be ignored. We’re fighting for real change—join us in making sure our voices are heard.

💬 Spread the Word: Share this post, stay engaged, and keep pushing for action. Together, we can demand a system that works for every person, every family, and every community. #AdvocatingOutLoud
