Having a period as a woman is NOT a choice. For me, my period comes almost always when I don't have tampons and don't have the money for them. That's out of my control when my period comes, so what am I supposed to do?? Bleed everywhere??

Menstrual products are essential items, not luxuries. Yet many women and teenagers face "period poverty," unable to afford these basic necessities. According to the American Medical Women's Association, one in five girls in the U.S. has missed school due to lack of menstrual products.

We need every women's restroom to offer free tampons and pads. Additionally, let's start a free "subscription" service for every woman or teenager that has their period, providing them with a box of either pads or tampons (their choice) once every month.
