The Issue

I'm a seller on Facebook Marketplace and, like thousands of others, Facebook owes me months of payments. This isn't an isolated case - Facebook Marketplace owes thousands of sellers money. Instead of assisting us, Facebook ignores our pleas, closing cases without any resolution.

This flagrant disregard for the rights and economic security of its sellers is unacceptable. The owed payments are not just numbers; they represent our labor, our time, and our livelihoods. This scenario has resulted in a crisis where sellers across the country are experiencing significant financial distress.

To rectify the past and prevent future instances, we demand Facebook Marketplace to not only pay its sellers the owed monies but also implement a system where sellers are paid within three business days of delivery confirmation, in alignment with the standard practices of the e-commerce industry.

There must be mechanisms in place to hold Facebook accountable for these payments and to provide a straightforward, efficient resolution process when disputes arise.

We urge you to sign this petition to compel Facebook Marketplace to respect the rights of its sellers by providing them due payments promptly and fairly. Your support can help thousands of sellers recover their owed payments and prevent future financial hardship. Please, stand with us.
