My children are victims of Missouri's social services department. They were unlawfully removed from my custody and placed into the state's care, where they suffered abuse, neglect, and severe emotional distress. Missouri must adopt similar standards, requiring child protective services to present verifiable evidence to a court, ensuring that every action they take is in the best interest of the child and supported by fact.

The trauma inflicted upon children and their families by improper removal is immense and often irreparable. Restoration of family unity, where safe and appropriate, should be the primary goal and a top priority within child protection laws. Implementing reforms to mandate court orders with clear evidence will ensure children's safety, uphold family integrity, and foster trust within our communities.
