Fortnite has grown from a popular battle royale game into a massive entertainment platform featuring characters and collaborations from music, movies, television, sports, internet culture, and other forms of media. Its enormous popularity among younger players makes transparency about these collaborations particularly important.

This petition raises concerns about Fortnite featuring real-world personalities associated with adult entertainment or strongly adult-oriented content as purchasable or playable characters within an ecosystem widely used by children and teenagers.

The concern is not that adults should be prohibited from working in adult entertainment, nor that mature entertainment should be unavailable to adults. Rather, parents and guardians should be given sufficient information and effective controls when personalities primarily associated with adult-oriented material are incorporated into games and digital spaces heavily used by minors.

We call on Epic Games to strengthen its policies for Fortnite by:

1. Providing clear disclosures when collaborations feature personalities substantially associated with adult entertainment or other mature media.
2. Giving parents the ability to restrict or hide age-sensitive character skins, promotional material, collaborations, and related content through Fortnite's parental controls.
3. Considering Fortnite's significant audience of children and teenagers when selecting and marketing celebrity collaborations.
4. Ensuring that promotional material associated with these collaborations does not direct younger players toward sexually explicit or otherwise age-restricted external content.
5. Providing parents with accessible information explaining how Fortnite's individual experiences, cosmetics, collaborations, and age ratings interact with its parental-control system.

This petition does not call for adult entertainers or mature public figures to be censored from entertainment generally. It asks Epic Games to recognize the unusual responsibility that comes with operating a platform enjoyed by a substantial number of younger players.

Fortnite can continue collaborating with figures from popular culture while giving families meaningful control over the content presented to children.

We ask Epic Games to adopt clearer standards, stronger parental controls, and greater transparency for adult-oriented celebrity collaborations within Fortnite.
