Thank you all for your support and kind words. We attended a strategic planning committee meeting this morning. Not sure that went so well. It started out being a funding issue and when the Board of County Commissioners said the money was there, the BOE is now saying its a legal issue putting cameras in. Through our research it is not. Schools are a public place and cameras can be put in the classrooms just not locker rooms or restrooms. The School boards attorney is saying don't do it and the NCDPI is saying no don't do it. They are still looking into it and researching their options. Please continue to share. If you live in Union County we need to gear up for a serious protest if the answer is no.
