Thank you so much for your support. At this time our signature are up to 102,576. Please continue to share. At the last BOE meeting we were told that they have a strategic planning comity and to safety comity looking into installing cameras. We were also told there are no funds and that they would have to switch their systems from digital to IP cameras. The BOCC relayed to us that the BOE has been given the funds. We have the support of the Board of county commissioners, the DA, the sheriff and 3 board members. We are still in need of 2 more board members to get this done. We are hard at work and will continue to push for cameras in special education classrooms. We have even suggested that they try a pilot program and have 2 schools willing to be the pilot schools. Who would have thought it would take an act of congress to keep children with disabilities safe while getting an education. Where is the Compassion? This is a no brainer.
