I want to thank Mr. Ryan for acknowledging our efforts and his support should a responsible member of the House submit a bill that would be the result of our efforts, I'm sure we can count on Mr. Ryan's support. There are only three things we ask in support of Kari's Law and that is, 1) Provide 911 dialing with and without a prefix (access) number (dialing 911 or 9-911) 2. On site notification that alerts local personnel when a 911 emergency is occurring. (Front desk, on-site security etc) 3. DIRECT routing to a 911 center (PSAP) WITHOUT local INTERRUPTION by untrained personnel. 3 things that are capable of being implemented in a matter of minutes and in a very few cases a matter of hours or days. Kari's Law initiative also would like to see the results of how much in 911 fees and taxes have been collected from the public for 911 Enhancement to 911 systems across the United States, and who is responsible for the collection and distribution of these monies.
