It's not a secret that credit reports can have numerous errors. And until now... you could mail, fax and upload your credit complaints... per the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

But TransUnion recently stopped accepting faxed complaints & have never accepted emailed complaints... violating the spirit of the Fair Credit Reporting Act. 

And other credit agencies also don't publish valid fax numbers or email addresses, either. And this needs to change... immediately!

American consumers should have the right to challenge credit errors... any way we choose, including via fax and email too!

Faxes and emails are cheap, effective, documented and also "green"... because consumers and/or their legal advocates can fax and email directly from their computers to the credit agencies without having to waste paper or ink.

And many Americans still don't have Internet access, which makes it nearly impossible to use their online dispute portals... that are confusing, often out of service or block you if you answer a question wrong. 

Plus old fashioned US Postal "snail mail" isn't "green", takes too long, is much more expensive... especially if you also need to send your complaint via Certified Mail.

Sign my petition to force all credit agencies to publish 24/7/365 working fax numbers and email addresses (that aren't throttled or turned off) so all American consumers have "green", reliable, cheap and documented methods of filing credit complaints.
