The majority of our community was unaware of the public hearing on November 2, 2015 Petition 21-15: for a freight and trucking industrial development at 980 Lambert Lane. We feel the impact of having an industrial trucking driveway entrance directly adjacent to our residential street, homes, and entrance to our community carries significant safety concerns.

We, the undersigned, are concerned citizens of Elgin, IL residing in the Castle Creek of Elgin community (along with Castle Creek of Bartlett single family homes and townhomes*) who urge our City of Elgin staff and officials to act as good stewards on behalf of our residential community and taxpayers to further review additional modifications be made to this development in order to minimize impact to the residential community.

*Due to the inter-governmental issue as well as the same safety concerns our Castle Creek Bartlett neighbors are included.
