We’ve received an official response from Singapore’s Ministry of Transport (MOT) regarding our enquiry on Tesla FSD (Supervised).

Here are the key takeaways:

✅ 1. LTA is monitoring Tesla FSD overseas

LTA is monitoring Tesla’s progress and performance in European markets where a version of FSD (Supervised) has received approval.

❌ 2. Tesla has NOT submitted an application in Singapore

MOT confirmed that Tesla has yet to submit any application to deploy FSD (Supervised) locally.

⚠️ 3. Tesla has NOT provided the necessary safety documentation

Tesla has not submitted the safety data and supporting documents required for LTA to assess compliance with internationally recognised standards and Singapore’s safety requirements.

🚗 What does this mean for us?

The main issue right now is that Tesla has not initiated the formal application process in Singapore.

Before LTA can assess FSD (Supervised) for local deployment, Tesla needs to submit the necessary application and safety documentation.
