LTA is aware of the ongoing developments involving such systems in overseas jurisdictions and continues to monitor the international regulatory landscape, including developments relating to UN Regulation No. 171 (UN R171).
 
Any application for the use of such systems in Singapore will be assessed based on the applicable regulatory requirements, safety considerations, operational limitations of the system, and its suitability for Singapore's road environment. Depending on the proposal, further information, evaluation or testing may also be required as part of the assessment. We are thus, unable to provide an indicative timeline for its potential introduction at this juncture.
