There was an email shared to a mutual page from a community member named Jerry who received an email from TxDOT stating they have heard many emails, calls, etc. about this area and have a plan to install a 4-way stop at 50th & FM179 by the end of March. KCBD has picked up the story via a commissioner who has apparently made a call to fix that intersection and TxDOT listened to him to speed up the timeline.

We still need a fix to 66th, and we need to push for signals, but 4-way stops are at least a start. Let us keep going and have our voices heard.
