Discussion on 40% Property Tax Rebate for Self-Occupied Homes & key civic issues impacting residents of PCMC, particularly Wakad, Tathawade, and Punawale areas.

Key Discussion Points & Outcomes:

• Flat 40% Property Tax Rebate for Self-Occupied Homes:
• Removal of Mandatory STP and OWC Requirements:

Response: These points were taken together. Hon. Jagtap Sir informed that a meeting with senior PCMC authorities is scheduled for Saturday, 19th July 2025, where this issue will be raised in detail. We have been invited to attend this meeting for further discussion.

• Frequent Power Outages:

Response: Hon. Jagtap Sir issued strict on-the-spot instructions to *MSEDCL* officials, directing them to maintain turnaround times (TAT) and resolve all technical issues immediately. He also assured that if MSEDCL requires infrastructure upgrades, the government is willing to allocate necessary funds.

• Lack of Emergency Medical Infrastructure:
• No Public Garden Despite Educational Infrastructure:

Response: These two points were clubbed together. Sir assured that land acquisition for hospitals and public gardens is already in process, and completion is expected within the year. 

• Poor Condition of Service Roads (Wakad, Tathawade, Punawale):

Response: The 24-meter service roads in the mentioned areas have already been sanctioned and work has commenced. Additionally, new underpasses at Bhumkar Chowk, Tathawade, and Punawale have been approved.

• Irregular Water Supply:

Response: Sir requested us to monitor and record daily water supply from PCMC over the next one month, starting today. Based on the data, further action will be initiated.

• Lack of Cleanliness and Hygiene Measures:

Response: Sir provided contact details of the Immediate Response Team 📱+91 7575981111 Residents are encouraged to report cleanliness and garbage issues directly to the team, which will forward complaints to the respective departments for resolution within 24 hours.

Conclusion:
The meeting was constructive, and multiple issues raised were acknowledged with actionable outcomes. We appreciate the proactive response from Hon. Mr. Shankar Jagtap Sir and look forward to participating in the upcoming PCMC official meeting on Saturday 19th July 2025 at Hotel Bird Valley, Wakad. Please be available for the discussion.
