As a fervent supporter of our local law enforcement, I, alongside other concerned citizens of Waterford, find the recent actions of our Town of Waterford Chair and a Town of Waterford Supervisor deeply troubling. We believe that the Chair acted deceitfully and abused her power during the recent vote and evaluation. In December, the Board had unanimously agreed that the committee would perform the evaluation. Contrary to this agreement, the Chair overstepped her role to guide the outcome in favor of her clear bias. This abuse of power not only undermines the democratic process but also jeopardizes the citizens' faith in our local governance.

Such actions should not and cannot be tolerated. It's time for the Chair to rectify this situation by rescinding the vote and evaluation outcome, and allowing the committee to carry out the evaluation as initially agreed.

Moreover, this incident calls for accountability and corrective actions for any form of power misuse. We, the people of Waterford, demand that the Chair be reprimanded for her behavior, reinstating the respect and integrity that our local governance deserves.
