Request The Midnight to score Miami Vice '85 soundtrack
The Issue
Since the first time I heard "The Midnight," I have been captivated by their synthwave beats and evocative soundscapes that seem to transport listeners directly into the vibrant era of the 1980s. Their music perfectly encapsulates the neon glow and the atmospheres of late-night drives, reminiscent of the timeless ambiance that "Miami Vice" once brought to television screens across the globe.
As a long-time fan of both "The Midnight" and the iconic "Miami Vice" series, I can't help but dream of the perfect harmony that could be achieved by having this talented band score the soundtrack for the upcoming film "Miami Vice '85." The film promises to revive the excitement, style, and pulsating energy of the 1980s, and no one captures those elements as ambiently and authentically as "The Midnight."
"The Midnight" has a proven track record of producing music that perfectly blends nostalgia with a modern twist, their soundscapes laced with haunting melodies and rich textures. Tracks like "Sunset," "Vampires," and "Lost Boy" are not just songs; they are stories set to music that evoke emotion and bring to life the very spirit of a neon-drenched cityscape.
Imagine the impact their music would have on the storytelling of "Miami Vice '85," bringing depth and resonance to the visual cues and heightened emotional beats of the film. Their music would not only complement but elevate the narrative, drawing in audiences both old and new into a world that pulses with danger, excitement, and a relentless beat that mirrors the underbelly of a bustling urban paradise.
Miami Vice's influence on culture is indelible, and it's crucial that its revival does justice to the legacy it holds. Entrusting the score to "The Midnight" ensures authenticity and creativity, upholding the series’ legacy in a modern setting.
We call upon the filmmakers, producers, and decision-makers involved in the production of "Miami Vice '85" to consider this vision. Allow "The Midnight" to craft the auditory experience that will accompany this iconic revival, enriching the film with their signature sound.
Please sign this petition to make "The Midnight" the official composers of the "Miami Vice '85" soundtrack and bring this harmonious vision to life.
