Request:Special HOA Meeting to Discuss Annual Fees Increase, Budget & Audit Manag. Company
The Issue
TRACE RIDGE HOMEOWNERS- only 1 person per HOME/LOT is allowed to sign petition. NO duplicate owners. NO RENTERS.
As homeowners in the Trace Ridge Subdivision, Fort Worth, Texas, we have been taken aback by the sudden increase in our Homeowners Association (HOA) Annual Fees for 2024.
This increase was discussed and voted on during the November 2, 2023 meeting without prior official notification to us homeowners a vote would take place that day.
This lack of transparency is not only concerning but also raises questions about the management of our HOA.
We are requesting a formal Special HOA meeting with Board members only. We propose this meeting to be held on a Saturday in November or before December 15, 2023, in the morning time. Before the end of December. To take place in our local area for convenience and accessibility. The Board may select a place large enough for homeowners to attend and coordinate this with the petition coordinator. We are aware this will be paid for by the HOA Budget.
The primary agenda of this meeting will be to discuss the sudden hike in HOA annual fees set for January 1, 2024.
In addition to addressing this fee increase, we would like an open discussion about the overall budget of our HOA. We believe there might be areas where costs could be cut effectively without compromising on services provided by our association.
Furthermore, we want to discuss and request an audit of our Association Principal Management Company who manages our HOA affairs. It is important that we ensure their operations align with best practices and they are managing our funds responsibly.
This issue deeply affects all homeowners within Trace Ridge Subdivision as it impacts not just financially but also brings into question transparency within community governance structures.
We urge you all to sign this petition so that together we can strive for better financial management and increased accountability from those tasked with managing resources that directly affect us all.
