Request Public Media Release for Child Abuse Inquiry in Pendleton County
The Issue
For 26 months, I have fought relentlessly and unwaveringly for the victims of Indicted Lawrence "Grasshopper" Puffenbarger. I have advocated for not only my daughters but for countless others, kids and adults alike. It's not just a fight for justice; it's a fight for their voices to be heard, and for their stories to reach people who can make a difference.
Lawrence "Grasshopper" Puffenbarger is currently indicted, yet there remains a dire need for further investigation and public awareness of his actions. The haunting tales of his abuse span generations, affecting both children and grown individuals. Despite the indictment, we need more transparency, an official outcry, and a thorough investigation.
In Pendleton County, West Virginia, current victims, aged from elementary years to at least 40, span wide and silent; some are old friends I went to high school with. These victims don't include his ex-wife, who remains institutionalized after enduring horrific acts inflicted upon her by Puffenbarger. From rape to being sold for sexual assault to others, she suffered unimaginably, bearing physical and emotional scars that have led to this day of her institutionalization.
Such trauma should no longer reverberate in shadows. We request that the West Virginia State Police issue a public media release, demanding not only awareness but also accountability. We're calling for a dedicated 'Child Abuse Inquiry Link & Further Investigation' into Puffenbarger's actions to prevent further abuse and bring clarity and closure to these victims.
This petition is a plea for justice, a call for action, and an opportunity for our community to stand against such atrocious acts. By signing this petition, you're advocating for the voiceless, pushing for necessary inquiries, and making a stand for victims' rights. Let us bring light to their stories and ensure these crimes are never repeated. Please, sign and support our demand for a thorough investigation and public acknowledgment of these severe abuses. Together, we can make a difference. Sign the petition now!
