Parish Council Meeting Tues 27th Oct 6.30pm

Please attend the Parish Council meeting at St John's Church, aldercar, on Tuesday the 27th of October at 6.30pm. The development is on the agenda for discussion, its a chance to make our voices heard. Borough councillors will also be attending. 

The Borough councillor for Smalley, Amanda Paget, has called this it to committee, after our own ward Councillors ignored us. However, the imminent law change to limit planning commitee decisions may mean they ignore the request. 

The biggest impact we can have is commenting on the application on amber valley councils planning page. Please put a comment in if you haven't already. 

The most impactful arguments are;

- The saturation of affordable housing

- The layout change potentially increasing the size of the development

- The flooding issues we've had since it was granted
