Firstly, thank you very much for supporting this petition. It has now been submitted to all Derbyshire borough councillors and the planning officer. The councillor for Smalley, Amanda Paget, has kindly responded that she has referred this to committee, but that we are more likely to succeed if more objections are submitted online. As it stands there are only 13 objections.

You can find the application by either;
- inputting the reference number AVA/2026/0607
- Searching nearby and putting in your postcode
- Searching "hall road"
Once you've found the application click "comments" and then click the link to "online comment form on this application".
Once on the form you can select "yes" to whether you object.
Please use the points on this petition as your objection points. In particular the scale of social housing and the size of the houses, as this directly deviates from their own policies.
The funding received for this development means that they have to be in contract by March 2027. If this gets pushed to committee, the planning process will become so lengthy they will likely lose the funding.
