STATE ELECTION

Are the candidates listening? We hope so!!

It’s the perfect time to get vocal and active.

KORS members have sent a series of informative emails supporting the alternative highway route to all Victorian parliamentarians.

We’ve met with Tim Price of the Victorian infrastructure Delivery Authority , VIDA, ( the latest in a series of names  starting with VicRoads) and are working towards a meeting with the Minister for Roads.

An email from you to Roads Minister Paul Hamer, reception.hamer@transport.vic.gov.au, supporting KORS, the alternative route and a meeting will add strength  to our meeting request. You don't need to say much other than that you support the alternative route, and please would he meet with KORS.

If you live in Ripon,  cc Martha Haylett ( martha.haylett@parliament.vic.gov.au) the member for Ripon who refuses to engage with us.

If you don’t live in Ripon, cc your local member of Parliament.

The Premier, Ben Carroll, appears to be reactive to critical publicity; a letter to the local paper, cc,  ben.carroll@parliament.vic.gov.aumentioning his name may draw his attention to the extra $100 million,  cultural and environmental cost of the deviation.

And while you’re at it, bcc fixfreewayfiasco@gmail.com. That helps us know how we are tracking.

Let’s not waste the opportunity the election provides us, hit the keyboard and make your voice relevant.

Do it now, you'll feel so much better.
