The Victorian Government continues to waste millions of taxpayers' money, break Federal and State laws, destroy habitat for vulnerable and threatened species, sever farms and ignore public protests because our current environment protection and planning laws allow it. 

The Environment Effects Act written in 1978 is no longer fit for purpose for today's climate crisis.

The Planning and Environment Act, 1987, allows the Minister to by-pass the planning regime as a whole, not just the En vironment Effects Act.

Too many of the State's natural assets are being destroyed on a daily basis, permitted by the outdated and inadequate State environment protection and planning regime Acts.
