Hi Everyone,

I wanted to update you on what’s been happening since we started our petition about the problems in Brawley Little League.

My concerns were ignored by the president of Brawley Little League. Recognizing the need for further action, I reached out to regional authorities to understand the proper procedures for escalation. Their advice was clear: contact District 22 and to document everything for a clear record of the situation. 

I then reached out to Mr. Quinones, the president of District 22. Unlike the local league, he responded promptly via email and even called me later that day. His professional approach was a stark contrast to the dismissive attitude of Brawley Little League.

A huge thank you to Mr. Quinones for his timely response. He discussed the issue with Justin Hannon, decided to issue a warning, and will be closely monitoring the situation. Although this outcome is not ideal given the ongoing behavior, we hope Mr. Fierro will change his conduct and understand that such behavior is unacceptable. While we appreciate that he volunteers his time, there is no excuse for repeatedly poor behavior.
