Dear Honourable Commissioner,

We, the undersigned residents of Carmelaram, Chikkabellandur, Gunjur, Varthur, and Sarjapur Road areas, are writing to bring to your attention the pressing infrastructure needs in our localities.

Immediate Proposals

• Carmelaram Railway Station Road Repair: immediate repair and maintenance of the Carmelaram Railway Station road to ensure smooth traffic flow and commuter safety.
• Complete Sarjapur road - Chikkabellandur 100 FT road remaining stretch.  The exposed ground generates significant dust, affecting air quality and leading to health concerns of students, who pass through this stretch, all nearby residents and pedestrians. 
  Road is not motorable which is affecting the health of passengers and damaging vehicles

Medium-term Proposals

• Carmelaram Railway Overbridge (RoB) Completion: Completion of the Carmelaram Railway Overbridge (RoB) to enhance connectivity and reduce traffic congestion. We are pleased to note that the state government has sanctioned Rs 20 crore for this project ¹.
• Complete key roads connecting Sarjapur to Outer ring road and Whitefield:  

Long-term Proposals

• Metro Extension to Sarjapur: Extension of Metro services to Sarjapur, connecting key residential and commercial hubs.
• Double-Decker Metro-cum-Road Infrastructure: Development of a double-decker Metro-cum-road infrastructure to optimize space and reduce traffic congestion.
• Expertise development of Suburban railway Corridor 4 Kanaka line.
• Comprehensive Development Plan (CDP) Upgrade: Expert review and upgrade of CDP roads to ensure holistic and sustainable urban development.
