Patiently watching

When this petition began, we asked for careful federal oversight of the Cribari Bridge review. Since then, nearly 1,800 citizens have added their names. Four federally recognized consulting parties have submitted extensive technical comments, the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation has become involved, and FHWA has acknowledged receiving these concerns. The federal review remains underway. Thank you for helping ensure that the process remains transparent and that historic, environmental, and community impacts receive the careful consideration required by law. Because the bridge review is governed in significant part by federal law, we are also monitoring changes in federal policy and court decisions that could affect the review process.
