I wanted to share an important update on the Cribari Bridge project. We are closing in on 1700 signatures. Since the close of the federal comment period, the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation has opened a case file on the undertaking. This means that concerns regarding the federal historic review process are now under active consideration at the national level. At the same time, we have continued engagement with federal representatives, including outreach to the offices of Jim Himes and Richard Blumenthal, to ensure that the environmental review process is complete, current, and fully responsive to community concerns. Your support has played an important role in bringing attention to these issues. The petition has now been signed by more than 1,650 individuals, reflecting a broad interest in ensuring that decisions about this project are made on a sound and fully informed basis. As this process continues, our focus remains the same: not on a predetermined outcome, but on ensuring that federal requirements are fully met and that all potential impacts are carefully evaluated. Thank you for your continued engagement.
