I wanted to share a brief update with everyone who has supported this petition. On February 8, 2026, I mailed a formal letter to Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith outlining concerns related to public accountability and government process affecting Mississippi. The same correspondence was also shared with Congressman Bennie Thompson to ensure broader federal awareness. This petition exists to document concerns transparently and respectfully, and to ensure they are brought to the attention of appropriate representatives. I believe sunlight and process matter—and that informed oversight is essential to a healthy democracy. Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to read, sign, share, or follow along.
