With Christmas around the corner, not only do we bring Best Christmas wishes for you and your loved ones, we also want to say a massive THANK YOU to all of you that continue to support both our environmental causes as well as our social ones. We are truly grateful.
As a result of our fight against fracking and oil drilling, we identified another very serious area of social concern, and we decided to do something about it. The new project will kick start in January 2020.
Many changes will take place in ASMAA during 2020. One of them is the launch of our really first charity shop in the Algarve. We have many people in Lagos to thank for this opportunity, but a special thank you goes Rodrigues and Vermelho Building Contractors who have donated all the building and painting work for the new charity shop in Lagos - a donation worth a few thousand Euros.
We now ask you in the spirit of Christmas to support the further work costs needed for this new initiative, as well as funding for the launch of the InContact program in the Algarve.
Communities across the Algarve, now more than ever, need words of hope, care, compassion and trust in the future, because there’s so much disruption and negativeness affecting them on a daily basis.
Actions are needed to assist them to face many of the day-to-day challenges. It starts by showing that we, as part of the local communities, do care. They need to know that YOU and many others do care: This is our focus starting in January 2020, and you can be part of it.
