Dear friend
Today its my birthday. And I'm requesting your support for ASMAA as up to 80% of Portugal is up for grabs by big interests.
With each passing day, it is becoming clear that Portugal is under attack from within and outside its borders. Whether such attack is influenced just by rampant corruption in government or whether there are other players hiding in the background driving this Orwellian scenario, is not just a moot point at this stage.
We can see that it is happening.
We have NO CHOICE but to raise the alert to what appears to be a coordinated effort to transform most of our country into a wasteland within the next two decades.
Why do we say that?
In 2017 and in 2018, fires devastated many areas in the centre and south of Portugal, with many of those areas now being grabbed for mining exploration.
Is it just coincidence or were these fires part of a strategy to open the country up for mining exploration, mono agriculture projects, and the implementation of a 5G national network?
Add to the above - in what appears to be an accelerated drive to rape vast areas of our onshore regions with all of the above programs - the oil & gas exploration drive under way, currently in the centre of Portugal in Pombal and Batalha concessions using unconventional technologies such as fracking; adding as well the drive to explore our surrounding ocean within the expanded Portuguese continental platform, which is also being divided into concessions for deep-offshore mining as well as oil and gas exploration. Leaving very few areas unaffected across Portugal from north to south, be it on land, be it at sea.
What we briefly highlight above, are images that nightmares are made of. The problem is that as the situation stands currently, it’s not a nightmare that we will be waking-up from and realise that it was only a bad dream. It will be our reality in the very near future.
Why does it matter?
It matters because we care. We care about our environment, about our way of life, about our local economies. We care for what’s to become of people like you, your families, and all the people and families that will be impacted. We care for the animal life and plant life, the air, water and land that will become so contaminated that it will no longer sustain life. We care!
The Question remaining is – DO YOU CARE?
Because of the magnitude of data that we already have about this issue, which goes a long way to substantiate our alert, we’ll be releasing information in small segments in the weeks ahead.
