Dear Supporters | Caros amigos After a roller coast week as a result of APA giving green light to ENI to drill from September, ASMAA is now finalizing our second legal challenge against government. In this second legal challenge, ASMAA seeks from the court, an order declaring that the public consultation result announced by APA be declared invalid, and that an EIA has to be conducted before any drilling takes place by ENI/Galp. We expect to lodge our second legal case in court in the upcoming week. In the meantime we are working around the clock. To date we are grateful that we have raised 14, 875€ out of the 30,000€ that we budgeted for the main case which has enabled us to keep our noses just out of the water, but with the second case now being lodged shortly we need to raise before next Wednesday at least another 5,000€ urgently to help with raising costs. This is the last chance we have at moment to STOP the drilling from going ahead in September. That’s just 3 months away.
