On Wednesday the 26 we are running an information session in Aljezur on the current state of affairs regarding GALP/ENI saga. We’ll be discussion the current situation, including taking a close look at the legal battles currently at play against Gov | Galp/ENI, and much more. ASMAA is taking the lead in mobilizing support in the Algarve, while Tamera is focusing on Alentejo. At this event 18 very interesting international individuals are going to take part, including LaDonna the force behind the Standing Rock global movement of water protectors. The following week, from the 14 of August we launch the “On the Election Campaign Trail” action when we will be inviting all local candidates to sign two documents (one a social contract with their potential constituents, and a second one a letter informing the public of their pro or anti oil drilling position - part of the national Local Municipalities campaign with whom we are also collaborating.
