You deserve peace, but we will have to win it to enjoy it in Neptune City, even on Earth Day. Both on Saturday and again moments ago today on Earth Day Sunday, unnecessary noise pollution from an obsolete system litters the environment of our beloved community. The ongoing inundation of noise happening now in our town, is NOT NEEDED and OBSOLETE. We have to make it stop and we can, together.

That noise is one of two things:

Either a false alarm - Is this terrible noise that scares neighbors and make us jump related to an actual call for emergency? Records show when compared with community observation logs, very often this belligerent noise we are subjected to is related to nothing on record.

Or is it a cry for help, a demonstration of the failure of this outdated and obsolete system while a neighbor awaits response for help? While our responders do their very best with what resources they have, the town administrators and elected officials clearly have a problem in emergency response communication. Why can’t they reach the team in a effective and updated way? Funny thing they already do!

Our first responders are most valued as is the ability for everyday people who life, work and enjoy our town to enjoy life. The town horn noise is a hazard and hurts us. That is why neighbors and our greater communities are mounting the largest collective action of united peaceful demand to stop the Neptune City Town Horn and use the updated ap that is already in being used by our loved first responders now.

Did you know that the overwhelming majority of recorded emergency calls are responded to quietly? It is time to move past outdated and obsolete systems. When we call for help, we want help, not the pain and startling hazard blasted on everyone in town. It is time to stop the town horn. Take Action Today!
