Massive thanks to everyone for signing and sharing - let’s keep it going!  Taunton Town Council is discussing the future of the bridge at their next full council meeting on Tues 11 July - hoping they can help bring Somerset Council to the table to discuss positive solutions for a new bridge. We have a poster designed by a young campaign supporter you can download ( from our public Facebook group - Friends of Goodland Gardens) and print and pop up in your window. Take a selfie with it ( or with own home made banner) and post on social media with hashtag #ThisBridgeMatters. Once a crowdfunder is set up ( to further demonstrate strength of feeling, importance of this bridge to our community and our town and help break the  logjam) we will let everyone know. Keep sharing the petition and building support - we can do this!! Go to ‘write to them’ website and check who your Somerset Councillor(s) is/are and let them know your views and urge them to support us. More news anon. X
