That's how long I have been advocating for this change to benefit the children of today and of tomorrow.
I do not have children of my own, nor do I want them, but I care about the young people I work with especially those with whom I've had such heartbreaking conversations about what they have been subjected to at the hands of adults who should (and often do) know better.
Had those young people been better educated where relationships are concerned I truly believe they would not have such upsetting stories to tell. Sadly, there are some circumstances in the home that prevent children and young people from receiving this education hence why I believe the schools need to teach Healthy Relationships - what they look like and why they are important.
If you care, if you are a parent or carer, or guardian or if you hope to have children someday this petition should matter greatly to you. Unfortunately without a substantial amount of signatures, this petition will be closed and I'll have to leave it at that.
