• I have personally witnessed the devastating effects of fireworks on wildlife, pets, people, and our environment. The loud noises and bright flashes can cause severe distress to animals, leading to injury or even death as they panic and try to escape. Humans are not exempt from harm either; according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, in 2019 alone, an estimated 10,000 people were injured by fireworks in the UK . 
  
  Not forgetting fireworks contribute significantly to air pollution. A study conducted by scientists at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) found that levels of harmful particulate matter can increase by 42% during popular firework displays.
  
  However, we now have a more sustainable and equally spectacular alternative - drone light shows. These shows create stunning visual displays without causing harm or distress to living beings or polluting our environment. They offer a wide range of shapes and colors that can be customized for personal or public events making them a truly modern way of celebrating.
  
  It's time we embrace this technology fully for our celebrations while protecting those who cannot protect themselves from the harmful effects of traditional firework displays.
