Chris Pratt is a good actor, but Mario is such an iconic role, he needs to have a certain voice with a higher pitch and an Italian accent. Hiring a-list actors for voice acting roles is a slap in the face of voice actors who like Charles Martinet who have voice the character for years. Studios just care about making money instead of respecting how the character should sound. Replace Chris Pratt with Charles Martinet, and give Mario his Italian voice back.
