Six years ago, the CA Horse Racing Board started meeting in Sacramento rather than at SoCal tracks which had been its practice -- after being pummeled at its Board Meetings in 2019. I flew to Sacramento from San Diego to keep the focus on the continuing horse deaths at racetracks, and KCRA took note!

Now ALL CHRB Meetings are in Sacramento, and they stopped taking Public Comment via phone in June 2022, as soon as the COVID live meeting ban was lifted by the CA State Government.
