San Francisco residents are sending email requests for amelioration to address the issues of implementation of AB413 aka daylighting in San Francisco to the new Mayor Daniel Lurie, the SFMTA (San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency) board and the BOS (Board of Supervisors). The issues are numerous but include the failure to provide any signage such as no red curb marking, the need to carry a 20-ft measuring tape, the ambiguity of where marked or unmarked crosswalks exist, indeterminate efficacy and the loss of parking.  San Francisco police department continues to report accidents even where simulated daylighting, using red curb marking, is already in place leading many to question its efficacy.  For ease of use a pre-populated editable form has been developed which includes automatic email delivery to the Mayor, BOS and SFMTA.
