Amazingly, the petition has just passed 1,000 signatures since starting at 8am today. And some 9,000 people have viewed the petition. Change.org claim a 25:1 ratio of readers to signers so to be running at 9:1 is amazing.

The petition has made it into the Macclesfield Nub News. I've also dinged Cheshire Live and will hit BBC NW tomorrow.
