A couple of days ago we passed the 3,000 signature mark and seemed to be steaming ahead. Then, for some explicable reason I'm still waiting for change.org to respond about, we starting losing both signatures and petition views. This has continued to happen - people sign, the list grows, then it shrinks. Weird.

So, I'd appreciate it if you could keep sharing the petition.

Also, at 10am today, Tim Roca (Macclesfield MP) is speaking in Parliament to raise the impact the road closure has had on residents far and wide. I've provided a statement as evidence. I'm hopeful this will place increased pressure on CEC who've a proven track record on failing to meet roadwork deadlines (within the last few days bridge repairs on the London Road have again been pushed back, now to September).
