As residents of Topeka, KS, we are personally affected by the poor condition of Topeka Boulevard Road. Our vehicles have suffered damage and it has become a safety concern for us all. The road's state is not just inconvenient but poses a real threat to our community.

Topeka Boulevard Road is in dire need of repair due to years of neglect and insufficient maintenance. This has resulted in numerous potholes and uneven surfaces that can cause vehicle damage, accidents, and pose a risk to pedestrians as well.

According to the American Society of Civil Engineers' 2021 Infrastructure Report Card, Kansas roads received a grade of C-, indicating that they are in mediocre condition at best (source: ASCE). This is not acceptable for our community or any other.

We urge our local government officials to prioritize this issue immediately. We deserve safe roads that do not pose harm or inconvenience to us or our vehicles. Let's make Topeka Boulevard Road safe again!
