Reopen Vital Safety & Emergency Access for Multitudes of Bukit Gasing Residents & Patrons.

Reopen Vital Safety & Emergency Access for Multitudes of Bukit Gasing Residents & Patrons.
The Issue
Life in our friendly neighborhood has always been about community, compassion and care.
Here, elderly citizens enjoy their golden years, young kindergarteners begin their educational journey, and those needing medical care find solace among neighbours. However, this sense of safety and community is under threat due to the closure of a critical safety and emergency passage.
In compliance with the Uniform Building By-Laws, it is a common-sense necessity that neighborhoods like ours have accessible safety and emergency passages.
These passages serve as lifelines during emergencies, ensuring that vulnerable members of our community, especially the elderly, children and those with medical needs can receive help swiftly and efficiently. The closure of such an essential passage negates this safety promise and places residents at undue risk.
It's not just about adhering to building regulations; it's about protecting our community's most vulnerable.
In moments where every second counts, an open and accessible emergency route could be the difference between life and death. With increasing concerns about potential hazards, such as fires or medical emergencies, our community cannot afford to be without this essential passage.
We call upon our local authorities,
YB Lee Chean Chung parlimen105@pjlestari.com
Member of Parliament (MP) for Petaling Jaya
YB Tuan Rajiv a/l Rishyakaran help@bukitgasing.my
Member of the Selangor State Legislative Assembly for Bukit Gasing
Councilor Terence Tan Teck Seng terence@mbpj.gov.my Councillor (Ahli Majlis) for Zone 12 of the Majlis Bandaraya Petaling Jaya (MBPJ)
Feedback & Complaints Department, Majlis Bandaraya Petaling Jaya (MBPJ)
aduan@mbpj.gov.my
to prioritize the reopening of this safety and emergency passage that has been closed by the residents of houses
No. 2, No. 4 and No. 6
Jalan 5/35
Bukit Gasing 46000 Petaling Jaya.
It is imperative to restore access to ensure that our community remains protected and that every resident feels secure knowing that safety can be accessed and vice versa, that help in times of need can get to us.
Join us in advocating for our safety passageway to be reopened and our neighborhood be made safe again by signing in support of our appeal to our local government representatives today.
