Since this current Multicare Nursing Home 5 Jalan 5/37 Petaling Jaya 46000 Petaling Jaya management took over, we have been smelling smoke in our backyard. When it came to our awareness, we immediately asked them to put the fire out. At this time they were burning in their back corner that met our property's back corner. 

After we notified them, they started hanging a PVC sheet to block any view into the property and started burning instead at 5-6am in the morning, thinking that we would not realize. 

In the current images, they are burning at the other back corner of their property. 

It is important to note that the those in care are in rooms right by the fire and their neighbour is Little Human Scholars 2 : Playschool where children play outdoors as well. 

But also, what the hell to burning especially where those in care live - they need clean fresh air for their vulnerable bodies! When we have informed the WhatsApp contact number for Multicare Nursing Home +60 12-650 1805, they are playing the we didn't know and "I will tell to them" card. 

Given how illegal migrant workers tend to fearfully cling to management's instructions, we suspect that their management were actually aware and condoning such  behaviour, so we struggle to believe their "I will tell to them" B.S. They're just sorry they got caught, similar attitude to Little Scholars when they were performing full on construction through to the wee hours of the morning a couple years back. 

And if not, it indicates how poorly run these centers are if staff don't even understand the correlation with air quality and health. 

We have filed complaints with both MBPJ and the Police. The Police have informed us that we should've called them right away as it was happening. MBPJ have forwarded our complaint to their Occupational Health, Safety and Environment Department. 

Both illegal and unsafe, we feel dejected that new members of our neighbourhood, whether it is uncivilized "white collar" individuals greedily claiming public land as private property or the transition from a harmonious family neighbourhood into a commercial area, just dejected... at the loss of a community conscientiousness and unity. 

We've worked hard over the past 4+ decades to belong to this neighbourhood and community and we have enjoyed a peaceful, healthful existence here. We're very, very sorry that the new influx of humans here seem so disappointing, sad!
