As a resident of Havering Borough, I have personally witnessed the impact of overcrowded healthcare facilities, including GP services, A&E departments, Urgent Treatment Centers (UTC), and walk-in centres. Waiting times frequently exceed 12 hours, making it increasingly difficult to access urgent care.

The closure of the South Hornchurch Walk-In Centre has left our community with limited healthcare options. As the local population continues to grow and new housing developments are introduced, the strain on our already overwhelmed healthcare system worsens. A&E departments are struggling to cope, leading to excessively long wait times for patients in need.

Reopening the South Hornchurch Walk-In Centre would alleviate pressure on overcrowded A&E departments and provide timely and accessible care for urgent minor illness and injuries for local residents without the need to travel long distances and face long waiting time.
